1. it think that russia and germany took the whole assasination thing tooo far. yeah i think that the aliances should come to help thier fellows and come to thier aid...but there are certain reasons and circumstances which a country should not intervine...like when it will end up bringing more countries in and starting a massive war!
2. ther ewas a huge river running through it which could allow many enemies easy acess to the inside also it boarded the sea and many other countries like bosnia.
3. the psyche of the soldiers was probably that they didnt want to die or they were too afraid to betray thier country and become captured. or they couldve all been too scared to fight in the war that they thought they might loose because they had not focused enough on thier own revolution of thier country and they didnt have enough new machinery and weapons to keep up with the other counrties. this could later have influenced the russian revolution...
4.the mobilization of the troops says that they are here to fight and are serious about winning this war! they didnt want to loose and even though italy had been in the war longer they had been switching sdes and were at one point neutral... so the fact that italy had less troops doesnt surprise me expecially because they may have suffered enough caluaslities that they couldnt handle anymore...
5.The allies won this war because they had more troops at thier despense. unlike the others who couldnt keep bringing in new force when they lost great 3's of them...
6.I think that the casualites coudld have been avoided and many lives couldve been saved rather than just going to war they shouldve at leats tried to negotiate... there is always another option... not just war, plus it got to be super duper expensive and that couldve plundged many more countries into debt if the allies hadnt done the versallies treaty... also the chart tells me that even thought the allies had more reineforcements they still had mucho casualites...
